Rachel created Pilea&Paper and it continues to grow alongside her baby boy, at a time when her life was thrown into many unknowns, including a new home within a new community, a new baby and new daily life.

The name Pilea&Paper is inspired by the Pilea Peperomioides plant, arguably the first houseplant she has had any luck with not only keeping alive, but flourishing enough to propagate and give cuttings to loved ones. In much the same way, we hope our cards spread happiness to your loved ones too.

The range includes greeting cards for special occasions, and also heartfelt messages to send to your loved ones on days when life isn’t feeling so cheery. Taking steps towards feeling mentally well is close to Rachel’s heart and the cards dedicated to difficult days are messages of strength which have helped her through tough times. The hope is these messages can bring a little lightness to a moment for your loved ones too.
